NEVER FORGET THOSE WHO DIED. NEVER FORGET WHO KILLED THEM!
Fr. Frog impersonating (badly) a human
March 10, 2017
20 January, 2017 - The end of an error! We need to get behind President Trump and Vice-president Pence and give our best to our country instead of, acting like the liberal "snow flakes" who cry and moan because they lost the election.
In spite of the conservative win we continue to face the most dangerous situations this country has seen since it was founded. Besides the ongoing terrorist attacks (I call it like it is), ISIS terrorists that have been infiltrating the US masquerading as refugees, the huge influx of illegal immigrants who don't want to be Americans, but only want free stuff, the abortion mills and the selling of fetal parts, and run away debt, we've dug ourselves into a deep hole.
If you have never read Atlas Shrugged get a copy. It really nailed what has been happening to our country. Very scary. There is also an excellent science fiction series (currently 13) books called the "Empire's Corps" written by Christopher Nuttall, available for the Kindle readers from Amazon that gives a scary and accurate portrayal of what has been happening and the eventual end results that is set in the future.
Hold our new president and our senator's and representative's noses to the fire and demand that they uphold their vow to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign AND domestic. Do your best to counter the emotional, liberal, anti-gun and anti-freedom rhetoric pushed by the snowflakes, with fact, logic, and hard work. Educate those around you to be prepared and most importantly be awake, aware, and hopefully armed because I believe we are going to see some very shocking terrorist events transpire in our country, in formerly "safe" areas thanks to the previous administrations foolish actions.
I want to take a moment to thank all of you who continue to make this web site and the Steyr Scout site such successes, and a very sincere and special thanks to those who have caught typos, contributed arcane information, samples, and other goodies, especially the members of the Gunsite Alumni Group (API@). I would also like to thank those folks who have written me to thank me for all the work that went into my site and for keeping it up and running and especially a couple of generous folks, who asked to be anonymous, who have sent me unsolicited financial contributions. In these tight times REALLY I appreciate your generosity which helps to defray hosting and domain name expenses. And a special thanks to the 4 individuals who have sent "wee drams" of high end single malt, a jar of truly delicious raspberry jam labeled "F-R-O-G" jam, and a camera body that I was looking for. I am humbled.
The number of visitors to my sites continue to grow beyond my wildest expectations. This site has passed 512,000 visits (a half-million visits is mind boggling to me) and the Steyr Scout site is closing in on 407,000. My specialty pages on Jeff Cooper, the Savage scout rifle, and the Savage MKII rifle have passed 138,000, 234,500, and 25,450 (since 7/14) times respectively. I continue to get so many messages from folks all around the world congratulating me for my efforts or to help with questions as to boggle a humble frog's mind. I've heard from archeologists, ballisticians, clergymen, diplomats, doctors, forensic technologists, gourmets, historians, lawyers, peace officers, scientists, military folks, students, teachers, writers, and shooters of all levels of experience, and even an occasional cat and dog (well at least E-mails from the cats' administrative assistants).
I've received correspondence from Afghanistan, Antarctica, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guatemala, India, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Japan, Namibia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK, and (would you believe it,) the Vatican. Hopefully I've spread some knowledge and provoked some thought. Again, I thank all of you who have written me with questions, ideas, and updates, to share your interests or faith, to point out typos, or just to share kind words. I'm glad to have been of some small assistance to you. I value your friendship and I wish you and your families the best.

I have been asked by several correspondents why I try to so freely share my shooting and other knowledge with others--or for that matter why I try so hard to answer all E-mail inquiries. Well, it's a simple answer. When I was a youngster I was blessed by having adult friends and relatives who answered my incessant questions about everything, showed me what was what, and in general educated me in the "mysteries" of various subjects. This is simply my way of thanking them for their patience and kindness by "paying it forward." Remember: The only dumb question is one not asked! And please, pass it forward.
If you find a typo, glitch, or bad link anywhere please let me know the page, paragraph, and error, so I can correct the problem. Click here to email me.
Stay awake and aware out there. God Bless the Republic!
Thanks for dropping by! See you 'round the pond.
